Podium slab
The podium slab is the area between P Block and Y block on Level 4. This slab provides a roof for the pool on Level 2 and an open green area between the two new buildings. The pool structure under the podium is 50m in length and 20m in width, so the podium slab has to span 25m east to west and 60m north to south unsupported over the pool area.
