Important parking changes

With altered traffic conditions from Friday August 6, you can expect:

• Delays in parking
• Limited ability to queue
• New zones where you won't be able to stop
• Increase in heavy construction traffic

Please consider alternative transport arrangements. Timetables are available for the inter-campus shuttle.

Lift closed

The public lift between L and O Blocks near the Goodwill Bridge entrance to Gardens Point campus is now permanently closed for demolition.

Alternative lift access is available through O Block during business hours until Monday August 23, when access will be available via a ramp and stairs at the entrance of L Block.

Be ready for changes

A number of important events are scheduled for Gardens Point over the next two weeks. They may impact many staff and students. To assist in your planning for food, parking and access to a range of other services, here is a list of these key happenings:

• Last day of trading at Y Block will be Friday August 6.
• Y Block facilities will move to refurbished L Block over two weeks from Saturday August 7.
• Temporary mobile food outlets will be on campus during the two-week changeover.
• QUT Bookshop and the Guild campus shop and bar will close for two weeks.
• L Block opens for business on Monday August 23.
• Major hoarding under construction in front of Old Government House.
