As Semester Two gets underway, so too does the major construction of our new Science and Engineering Centre and Community Hub at Gardens Point campus.
As the project gears up, there will be a series of messages that we'll need to provide to you about changed arrangements.

You can also access further information at the Science and Engineering Centre website.

Public lift at GP to permanently close

From next Wednesday July 28, the public lift between L and O Blocks near the Goodwill Bridge entrance to Gardens Point campus will be permanently closed.

The lift is scheduled for demolition as part of construction work on the new Science and Engineering Centre and Community Hub.

This will mean staff, students and the public who use this lift will be directed to an alternative route through the campus.

Lift access will be available through O Block during office hours, as illustrated below. On-site signage will help guide pedestrian traffic.

The removal of the lift will enable safer access to the newly refurbished L Block which will open from Monday August 23, at which time access will be available through the front ramp and stairs at the entrance.

From August 23, L Block will be the temporary location for community facilities and services on Gardens Point campus.
