About the school

The Faculty of Health at QUT is one of the largest faculties with seven schools and a vision to 'enable people and communities to create a healthy future for the real world.' The internationally recognised School of Nursing is highly respected for its research, teaching and learning, and leadership in nursing. The school is amongst the most highly ranked nursing schools in Australia with an ERA Ranking 5.

The School of Nursing is seeking talented academics to grow and complement the activities of the outstanding team in the school and assist in delivering upon the strategic objectives of the school, faculty and university. The school currently contributes to 18% of the university's total research income, a testament to the success of the school's research activities and health system partnerships. The recently announced Centre for Health Outcomes, Systems and Services will further enhance research outcomes for the school.
